If you’re a writer in the Greater Cincinnati area, please join us at Olive’s this Sunday, April 29, at 2 p.m. for our Writing Workshop Workshop. Learn the gentle art of critiquing and being critiqued. Bring $5 for the kitty and about seven minutes’ worth of work to read to the group. Come early if you want to partake of Olive’s buffet! (Next month we’ll meet on May 27, if you want to get that on your calendar now.)
Writing Workshop Workshop This Sunday at Olive’s
April 27, 2012 by Wendy Beckman
Hey Wendy thanks for visiting my site and commenting!! It’s nice to know there are other Fernaldians that are bloggers! Love that! By the way since you are a blogger you might want to join us at Bloggy Conference (dot com) in Cincy. I definitely need to attend one of your Writers Workshops when I get a chance. I know I could brush up on my grammar. 😉
I hope your April 28th workshop was a success!?!
Thanks, Sherry! I was very impressed with your blog. It was nicely laid out and I didn’t spot many mistakes. 😀 I’ll be teaching a “Writing to Publish” class in the fall for UC’s communiversity, if you’re interested. Thanks for the tip about the conference, too.
The April 28th workshop was great. We’re having another one on May 27th. Those Sunday “Writing Workshop Workshops” are for manuscript critiques, starting out with all former Communiversity students and then growing to people who just heard about it and showed up. I have been really pleased at the work that people are developing.
Maybe I’ll see you soon!
