Hi folks! It’s that time again. We’re meeting this-coming Sunday at 2 p.m. at Olives at the Ludlow Garage in the Clifton gaslight area for our monthly “Writing Workshop Workshop.” For the uninitiated, our gathering is where you can learn the gentle art of critiquing other people’s work and having your own work critiqued in return. Bring about seven minutes’ worth of material to read or just come to listen to everyone else, and bring $5 for the kitty. We usually end by 4:30 or 5 p.m. All genres welcome; just remember that you’re going to be reading it out loud in a public place.
Most of us eat lunch; if you get there early enough before 2 p.m. you can eat from the yummy breakfast buffet. By the way, Olive’s has a new chef, so they have slimmed down their menu while they make the transition (I refuse to use “transition” as a verb; I’m that much of a curmudgeon). Yes, the veggie naan is gone. But you’ll love what’s still on/the menu.
That’s why I’m not a poet.
See you Sunday!
